Mount Pleasant Group – Victoria Cross Recipients Book

 

Bus Stop had the honour of recognizing the war heroes who fought for our freedom by designing this stunning coffee table book. Each page was carefully designed to commemorate each soldier, where they originated from, followed by a page with photos and the newspaper clipping from the London Gazette – standard practice after a soldier was awarded the Victoria Cross medal.

I was truly humbled by the experience, reading about these heroes who are often forgotten, and was so pleased to be a part of something so special. The book accompanies a memorial designed by the Mount Pleasant Group at the York cemetery in celebration of Canada's 150 anniversary.
